Why the Debunker?
My father had a favorite saying. To paraphrase: It isn’t what people don’t know that is dangerous; it’s what they know that ain’t so. This blog will be dedicated to combating, not so much ignorance, but rather fatuous assurance based on castles in the air. There will be no trouble supplying content. My goal is the ancient Socratic one of increasing the amount of intellectual humility in the Zeitgeist. More soon.
